Paesanos

Excellent food, excellent service. We made a reservation for dinner to celebrate a special birthday. Got a wonderful seat in the window to watch the action in Steveston! Waitress was efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable on the food and the wine. The food was very good. Fresh, tasty and well presented. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone celebrating a special occasion!

Just had a very nice lunch, superb food and wonderful service from our waitress. Probably could have done with a few more staff as it was getting a little busy. Also, great coffee.

Great food and wonderful atmosphere.

This is a fabulous place to eat. For under $9.00 you get a wonderful lunch, we have eaten there on several occasions and so far I can't find a lunch place in Steveston Village to beat the price or the wonderful menu, it is all so delicious.
Staff and service, excelent.

We went for their pasta lunch special and it was nothing special in my opinion. The servings were very small. We did each receive a small piece of a tasteless bread with our meal. The tomato sauce would be much improved with the addition of spinach or basil - something to give it some taste. We both agreed we will not be back - the decor was lovely so too bad the food did not match. The server was a bit too in your face for our liking. A disappointing experience overall.

Had lunch the other day at the new Paesano's restaurant in Steveston. It is a wonderful Italian restaurant with excellent food and service, and reasonably priced for the quality and ambiance.

Service was extremely slow. We waited for over 45 mins. for the special. Also, the Entertainment coupons were not accepted and the sign stating so was a mini piece of paper stuck on the outside of the restaurant. As this restaurant only moved locations, the coupons should have been honoured. Specials were very tasty, but not very well presented....no veggies, just some ravioli on a plate. Disappointing experience for a fairly expensive dinner.

good place to take your in-laws, but only if you don't like them.

The food was very good, and our server was excellent! Liked the new premises, nice and bright, if a bit cramped.An otherwise fine experience was dampened a bit when had to pay $4 for 2 meatballs, smaller than golf balls, plus of course no bread is provided without an extra charge. Our bill for 4 was $134 with a nice bottle of red. Surprised to find they do not accept the Entertainment card at the new location! Will certainly return.

Amazing food and service. The lasagna was the best that I have ever had! The new location is beautiful!

The food was Excellent. We had the Veal Cannelloni and the Lamb Osso Buco along with the House Salad. We will go again.

Amazing food. The best service ever! The person that didn't like it had absolutely no taste. I go back whenever I have a chance. It's quaint and wonderful!!!!

IN REGARDS TO THE LAST PERSON WHO WROTE A REVIEW ABOUT PAESANOS.......... THE REVIEW WAS CLEARLY WRITTEN BY AN INDIVIDUAL WITH ISSUES!! GET A GRIP!! MAYBE THIS PERSON WAS TO FAMILIAR WITH RESTAURANTS SUCH AS THE IHOP RESTAURANT OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT! JUST A HUNCH ON THAT BUT I WILL TELL YOU......THE RESTAURANT IS BEAUTIFUL WITH A BEAUTIFUL ATMOSPHERE. NOT ONLY IS THE FOOD GREAT BUT THE SERVICE IS NOT COMPARABLE TO ANY WHERE ELSE IN RICHMOND I HAVE DINED AT. THE RESTAURANT HAS MADE POSITIVE CHANGES IN EVERY ASPECT. THEY HAVE PAINTED, GOT NEW CHAIRS, NEW LIGHTS AND IMPROVED THE MENUS FOR BOTH FOOD AND WINE. AN ABSOLUTEY AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!

Seating arrangement is terrible. Not only can the waitresses barely squeeze through the seats. I felt squshed in to my table because the seats were back to back . Decor needs an update...get rid of the fake plants. Update the mens room. I like the drapes in the main dining area. Some one had a good idea with that! The food was ok, nothing special. The service is minimal at best. They certainly could use some training for fine dining. I might come back next year if they are in the entertainmnet book again but for now I will steer clear of Paesano's
